News about what is going on in Africa may have seemed hard to obtain until now, but the Internet abounds with sites that can give you an insight into current affairs whether it be from a political, economic, sociological, cultural or other viewpoint. What's more, the number of websites dealing with Africa news and articles multiplies daily, particularly as many well-established journals go on-line. The AIC news site is split into two sections. In the first section on this page you will find links to the websites of news agencies based inside or outside of Africa who have specific Africa pages, links to Africa journals and a selection of audio and audio-visual links. In the second section, an extensive range of links is provided to news sites listed by country, the value of which is in being able to observe news stories as they are presented in the region of Africa where the news is happening instead of through the eyes and pen of a foreign correspondent. |
